The World Affairs Council of Western Michigan‘s 69th Anniversary Event featured His Excellency Cui Tiankai, the Chinese Ambassador to the United States, and The Honorable Nicholas Burns, former United States Ambassador to NATO and the Roy and Barbara Goodman Family Professor of the Practice of Diplomacy and International Relations at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

The World Affairs Council of Western Michigan was founded on November 1, 1949, and since then has empowered the people and organizations of West Michigan to engage thoughtfully with the world.
